Hello, I am Marie
I’m a project manager. A parent. An expat living in Paris, France.
A few years ago, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary contract gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to France wasn't in our long-term plan. As with many expat moves, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far larger.
The initial months were intense — unfamiliar systems, new routines, new expectations. Everyday tasks felt more complicated than they should.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. But gradually, routines took shape. We found spots that fit us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt secure.
Why I Built Zireru Fenlev Por
Most information online was either corporate relocation tips or shallow tourism content. What was missing was an authentic, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to fill that gap — practical guidance grounded in real life in France.
What This Site Does (and Doesn't)
This site is:
- Hands-on experience from life in France
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated when meaningful changes occur
This site isn't:
- Not a tourism authority resource
- Not a sponsored review platform
- Not a generic travel blog
Looking Ahead
Our time in France goes on, and so does the learning journey. As long as the information remains useful, I'll continue recording what we discover.
If you have questions about family life in Paris or anywhere in France, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
Marie
